Hi,
I've been collecting cels since about 1999/2000 (as far as I can remember!). Why, it all started with my boyfriend being a major dragonball fan since he was about eight. When we started going out he used to talk about this Japanese anime, I kind of went along with what he was saying, only ever seeing a couple on anime films myself. His dream was to own a cel from it, but he didn't know how to get one. So when we got the internet finally, he found out you could buy them and did so. I then got into watching DBZ and we bought a few more.

HOW ADDICTIVE IS CEL COLLECTING??!! We have spent so much money on these pieces of acetate with paint on them. But we can't stop!! Currently I feel my Dragonball collection is fairly complete to how I want it, there are a few cels that if I see I will buy. But I couldn't stop there no could I!! I have found a new anime, Saint Seiya, which has really caught my attention. It was made at a similar time to Dragonball and has similar qualities. I've also started on Ah! My Goddess, which is more my boyfriends thing. So our cash is still being sucked away. Anyway, I hope that you like our collection, we have spent a lot of money (too much) on it.
